TUC welcomes 40-year national development plan.
The General Secretary of the Trades Union Congress, (TUC), Kofi Asamoah, has welcomed the long term development plan by the National Development Planning Commission and prayed for food security and sustainable energy supply in the next 40 years.
The TUC envisages improved sanitation, affordable housing and respect for human rights.
The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Employers Association, Alexander Frimpong also called for skills training and quality education for growth and development.
Meanwhile, the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS), has called for the mechanisation of Agriculture for food security.
National Coordinator Paul Walanyo was speaking at the launch in Accra of a 40 year National Development Plan by the NDPC.
